Special Education Teacher (location TBD)

Start Date: July 1, 2026

Minimum Qualification: 

• Possess a valid Mississippi Teaching License with a 221 or equivalent endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional endorsements and willingness to obtain additional training
• Experience working with special education students
• Commitment to the development of the whole child and willingness to support diverse needs
• Commitment to the Union community and Union schools community
• Documented record of improving outcomes for students in the lowest performing subgroups

Terms of Employment: 187 days annually

Salary/Wage: Based on district certified teacher salary schedule
