The Union Public School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of:
Technology Coordinator
Start Date: to be determined, likely May/June 2026
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Two years of general computer installation, maintenance, and repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job
Primary Responsibilites:
- Develop, implement, and monitor the district's technology plan, collaborating with others who will also implement the plan
- Coordinate the maintenance and acquisition of hardware and software, and maintain an inventory of all district fixed assets
- Implement and monitor all facets of the student level database, including training and troubleshooting, and monitor network traffic for appropriateness of content, taking necessary action when inappropriateness is discovered
- Work within the district budgeting and spending process to manage the allocation and expenditure of funds for the Technology Department
Salary/Wage: $35,000-$55,000/year, depending on experience
